I am probably the worst when it comes to keeping documents. I am more used to keeping soft copies – save them in a storage device and just retrieve it anytime I need it. Even my Papa told me once that I should keep necessary documents like receipts for at least 5 years. Come one, how can I keep that in such a long time?
I do keep documents, but I don’t do them in a right way. Test papers, registration forms, receipts, and even scratch papers, name all kinds of documents, I keep them for at least one semester. All I do is stuck them in a book, an old magazine, in any random bag I see, sometimes under my pillow. Can you see how organized is that? Haha.
Now that I’ll be handling more documents, I decided to become more organized. To start that, I bought a clearbook where I could put all the necessary documents I have to keep.

Project 5/365
While our professor was discussing a very boring lesson, I was reading the handouts because I just had my first quiz of the year. Peanut Kisses on the side. :)
Project 4/365
Hello, UST! I’m back!
I had my first class for 2013 and it was boring. It’s a Cisco lecture class. I could have liked it if it’s a laboratory class. Anyway, it’s good to see friends and talk about the stuff we missed during the Christmas break.
And oh, there’s only one week left until preliminary examinations come. Whew.
Project 3/365
Most students are now back to school while my vacation has been extended for a day because our professor sent us an email that we won’t have a meeting today. So I’ll be back to school tomorrow, no backing out.
I am now here in Manila, back to dorm. And that means another grocery time for me. More food than toiletries this time. I will make sure that this year, I’ll spend more on food than anything else.
Project 2/365
Been to my cousin’s house today and I was able to explore her newly bought iPad. I enjoyed Temple Run since it isn’t compatible on my Android phone. I wanted to bring it home but of course I can’t. Haha. Oh well, someday I’ll have my own. :)
Pose Like a Jogger
Lame post title, I know. Forgive me. Hahaha.
So last night, while traveling back to Dasmariñas, Cavite, my friend thought of jogging. We have planned this so many times before but we always fail on making it happen because we’re all sleepyheads. But not this time. Haha.
I don’t know what motivated us, but we really woke up early and jogged! We spent around two hours jogging, with walking, of course. Haha.
Here are a few photos of us after jogging.

These photos are not post-processed in any way. Excuse our haggard looks. Haha. This new activity we did is way much different than the marathons we have joined. How I wish we could do this every week, and much better if the two other girls could join us. Well someday, I know we will. :)
A Day for Myself
Today’s Andres Bonifacio day, a national holiday, so we have no classes. Unfortunately, there’s no long weekend for me because I have Saturday classes. Oh well, I’m used to that.
I wanted to go out and spend this day with my friends but they can’t so I had no choice but to have this day for myself. I thought a ‘me time’ will be good.
On my way to SM Manila, traffic is so heavy and I wondered why. Then somebody said a rally caused it. Because of that, I wasn’t able to catch the 1pm and 2pm showing of Breaking Dawn Part 2 and so I had to wait for an hour for the 3pm showing.
As I wait, I bought milk tea first since I haven’t tried Sip Milk Tea yet and I miss milk tea already.

Just look at how they misspelled my name. They even added the flavor after my name so it looks like my surname. Hey, new name it is.
Then after roaming around, I proceeded to watching Breaking Dawn Part 2. Alone. Yes, alone. It’s my first time to watch a movie alone and I swear, I won’t dare do it again.

I wasn’t affected by the movie that much because I felt that there were lacking scenes. I don’t know why. Well whatever. Right after getting out of the moviehouse, I heard some screams like there’s a show going on. As curious as I am, I went to the entertainment stage and there goes Kimpoy Feliciano’s album launch.

Because of the crowd, I wasn’t able to go near the stage but thanks to my camera’s zoom capability, that I was able to capture a few photos, though these two are the most decent of all. I am not a fan, I just took photos thinking that some of you would like to see how different he looks. Am I right? I think he looks different in person than in photos. I don’t know.
Well anyway, that’s all for today. I still have to review for tomorrow’s quiz and write a proposal for our project. Procrastinate now, Mei.
Accenture’s Campus Technology Session 2012

Yesterday, I am given an opportunity to be a part of Accenture’s Campus Technology Session 2012. We’re only around 50 students and we didn’t spend any amount. The transportation is provided by Accenture and there’s no registration fee.
Upon arriving, we had to register and claim our Accenture freebies plus our name tags. I do wish these are personalized magnetic name tags.

The event started with an overview and a virtual tour around the company. The main topic is about the latest technology that Accenture has. The talk included the Microsoft Lync 2010, which is awesome, by the way. The telepresence is also mentioned though they only demonstrated it using one screen. I wanted to see the 3-screen telepresence! :) And this round table camera is also amazing, but costs a lot! Haha.
After the talk, we participated in a Paint Me a Picture game, which our group didn’t win, unfortunately.
Then we had a buffet meal, which as I said on my Instagram post, is a balanced meal, though it would be better if it’s water or juice than Coke. I am not a softdrinks lover.

There’s also a raffle draw and the prizes are Starbucks GCs, Accenture 2GB flash drives and an iPod Nano 7th Gen! Did I win? NO. I didn’t expect to win because I am not lucky in raffles like that. But hey, the winner of the iPod Nano is soooo lucky. Everyone has their eyes on that amazing gadget.
Are you bored yet? Hang on. It’s almost done. Sorry for not taking a lot of photos because there are already event photographers there that I thought I won’t be needing to take my own photos. But I was searching for photos since last night and I can’t find anything. I really hope they’ll upload them somewhere.
Anyway, I wouldn’t miss to have a photo of myself, of course. So I asked a friend of mine to take this picture for me. Blurry picture is blurry.

We went back to UST at around 5:45 pm already. Mind you, I still have a 6-9pm class. Heavy traffic is heavy. I’m one and a half hour late for class! I even had to do the lab activity with only one hour left. Can you imagine the pressure? As expected, I wasn’t able to finish the program. But it’s alright. I still have a good day. :)
Surprised with what I saw, I took this photo from the 5th floor of Engineering Building while waiting for our 6-9 pm class. But after class, the lights went off so I wasn’t able to take a photo of the Main Building itself. Maybe the lights were just tested for a few minutes or hours.
I am sure Thomasians are already waiting for the Christmas lights in UST. Paskuhan 2012 is only few days away. We’re all excited! :)
Today, I bought a new cellphone… but not for myself, but for a friend, and not using my own money but hers.
Yesterday, she asked me about this cellphone she wanted if what I think about it. When I searched for its specs, I WOW-ed on its OS. Ice Cream Sandwich, FTW! Just by that, I immediately told my friend to go for it. Hahaha. Then later, I read more of the specs.
Because it’s being sold in an online store named Kimstore, she asked me to do the transaction instead because I am near to the meeting place. This is my first time to purchase something from them I must say that they didn’t accommodate me well. They don’t send immediate replies, and they’re even out of reach when I tried to call them. But still, due to my persistence, we were able to do the transaction in one day.
Anyway, I am currently in love with this cellphone. How I wish this is mine. Haha. I am excited to install lots applications on this, as requested by my friend. Well even if she didn’t say, I’ll volunteer! Haha. I’ll have the chance to explore and use it for a little while because my friend is going to pick it up on Tuesday. I’ll get busy now! :)
Today is the start of the second semester but I didn’t attend my class. It happened that there’s a faculty meeting at 1pm so my afternoon class is affected. Because of that, it made me felt lazy to attend my class which is earlier than that. Haha.
And so, I went to SM Manila to buy a new Tattoo stick. I wanted to purchase the other kind of tattoo but the money I brought wasn’t enough for that and I don’t want to go back so I just purchased this one instead.
Globe, I’ve been a loyal customer when it comes to Globe Tattoo Broadband so please be good to me. :)
This Guy’s in Love with U Mare!
My friend has one free ticket to This Guy’s in Love with U Mare, and as generous as she is, she used the free ticker for her and paid for the 50% of my ticket. :)

So yesterday, we decided to watch it together. Two of our friends weren’t able to come. Besides, they have watched the movie already. The movie is not being shown at SM Dasmariñas, Robinsons Dasmariñas and SM Molino anymore but luckily, it is still showing at SM Bacoor. I think the last time I went there was when I was still in highschool. Haha.

Have you noticed the blouse I’m wearing? I just found that in the closet when I was looking for something to wear. Since mama and I are the only girls at home, and that is not mine, I wonder if that’s my mama’s. After I dressed up, I asked her if it’s hers and she confirmed it’s hers when she’s still a teenager. Haha.
And here’s a photo of me and my friend taken using Instagram after we had milk tea. We only had a few photos because we had more stories. Haha.

P.S. I’m back in Manila. :/
Today is the first day of November, and a few days from now, second semester is going to start.
This is my registration form after I enrolled last Tuesday. I can’t believe that there’s only one semester left before I graduate.
5 months. 18 units. Php 46,687. Just a little more perseverance, and I’ll be marching soon.
Just My Luck
The special prize I won from Beauty Bloggers United Giveaway has finally arrived! :)

I am so in love with the bag! Even my mama liked it. :)

These are the accessories that are so elegant that I wanna wear so much but they’re big for me. :( Stick person here. Haha.
I am really excited for the shoes but I was disappointed when it’s not in the package. But after a few minutes, another delivery man came with another package. The blue shooooeeess! :))

My feet are actually weird that sometimes I’m size 6, but size 7 sometimes. That is why I had a hard time deciding what size to choose. The shoe size provided helped me choose size 35 but I think I didn’t measure my feet well so these size 35 shoes are just enough for my feet. I should have chosen size 36. But anyway, size 35 is safe and just fine. I still love it. :)
Thank you so much to the hosts of this giveaway, April, Janine, Ana, Mhisha, Jannie, and Phyllz and of course the sponsor of the special prize, Han Ryu. You better check out their products! :)
I had a chance to play with iMovie as I edit our raw videos for our project in one of our subjects. Big thanks to a friend of mine who let me borrow his precious Macbook Pro. I bet he uses the best Antivirus for MAC to maintain this. :)
I am supposed to create a mini clip but since it’s my first time to experience iMovie and I didn’t have enough time to explore it, I decided to limit it to a trailer. Besides, the trailer templates are just fascinating! iMovie makes me wanna buy a Macbook. Haha. B
There were scenes that were not included but I don’t regret anything since I think the essence of the video is still there even without those scenes. Do you want to view the trailer I made? Wait for it as the uploading will take a while. :)
